Today I was updating the wiki to try and fill in the gaps in Los Angeles for all the former sites of courses vs current courses (it's obviously very much a work in progress), and when I got to Hacienda GC I was totally overwhelmed with the number of architects credited for that course. So in doing a bit of research, I came across this copy of their history on archive.org, and it's extremely thorough.

Apparently, Max Behr and Ted Robinson are both erroneously credited with work there (edit: Ted Robinson did work there, just some extra work there incorrectly credited to him). There is an entire section on "doubtful credit." Anyway, I thought this was such a niche book, that maybe someone else here would like perusing it as well.

If you aren't familiar with Archive.org, you can check out the books for free for an hour at a time, but you can refresh that as often as you like if someone hasn't requested it. Here's the link:

Actually, the 6th, 15th, and 16th greens are Ted Robinson greens.

Looks like you're absolutely right and I missed the scope of the erroneous credit as I was skimming through. Let me grab all the relevant references, and I'll update the above comment

Another error exists in the listing of Ted Robinson as having done work at Hacienda in 1965. Robinson redesigned No. 6 and No. 8 greens in 1972 and No. 16 green in 1987, but there was no major work done nor architect involved at Hacienda in 1965, the year after major reconstruction of the entire back nine and the installation of the first automatic irrigation system.
And here:

Ted Robinson redesigned and enlarged Nos. 6 and 8 greens in 1972 and No. 16 in 1987...

The Golf Course lists Billy Bell, Sr. and Billy Bell, Jr. as having done work in 1947, but we have found no records to confirm that. It also lists Ted Robinson as having done work in 1965, but that is believed to be a mistake because none of our sources of information on Hacienda’s history are aware of any construction, renovation, or modification to the course being done that soon after the completion of Hogan’s work.
