Peacock, which is not generous with golf replays, offers one of the third round.

David,

Wish I could read The NY Times article.

As for the golf course, I was fortunate to play it when Tom Doak held his Renaissance Cup there and really enjoyed it. The course certainly has its own unique character - a big priority for me - and I think works well for golfers of various skill levels.

Wish I could get back and see the holes that weren’t there when the course opened.

The greens look great. Looks like a lot of nice movement.

How is the Renaissance club doing business-wise?  I believe it opened just as the GFC hit, and my understanding is that it was marketed to wealthy people in London and the US.  That business fell off quite a bit after 2008.  Has the club recovered from that period, assuming that it suffered at all?

Replays of 3 and 4 were viewable a few hours ago. Both have vanished since then. >:(

Looks like the Golf Channel will repeat the final round this evening at 8:00pm eastern time.

This is a wonderful success story.

I played the Renaissance Club early in the club's history.  It was built during a period in Tom Doak's career where most of his high profile projects were hilly and dramatic, courses such as Ballyneal, Stone Eagle and Sebonack.  The Renaissance Club is more understated, built on a relatively subtle piece of golfing ground.  It has a beautiful set of old stone walls that were incorporated into the design.  It's a nice walk through a beautiful grassy park.

It is my understanding that the club's owner sought to attract a professional event early in the club's history.  This is the club's fifth year as the host of the Scottish Open.  There are thousands of spectators, and the best players in the world are competing.  To me, this is a very satisfying outcome for this fine club.

I do not think they have "made" money, but luckily the club is on very sound financial footing and hosting the tournament is certainly a boost -- especially today!
