I'll be playing there in August, and wonder if anyone has any knowledge of the place.

Lineage says Strong and Bendelow, with an update by Mandell in 2013.

Funny thing is, website for club still lists Strong as architect. More to come...

I know Hudson Ohio's town square with iconic clock tower was considered as a shooting location for the Peyton Place TV series... by association, the course should have some secrets and complicated emotional contents at play...

Used to play Lake Forest a lot, two of my friends were members there.


Used to be a wet, tree lined long golf course that was very difficult, but it’s been 10 years since I’ve been gone from “The Land” and I’ve heard they had a renovation and removed a lot of trees.


I’m not a big clubhouse guy but theirs was spectacular, a 1920’s era stone building that overlooked a beautiful lake.

Hence the name "Lake" nearby and "Forest" lining the fairways.

I'm told that the forest is much the smaller now.
