Is the Ted Robinson version next?  Darn you for pointing me towards this vile pastime. My best is now -4.

I haven't started the next one yet, but I think some of you know that Ted will definitely be on the slate with a hole from his Disneyland course.

I just had -9 under up to 16, and then finished with a flaming 4 over!

Tonight I promise you the Mucci/Rgkeller 16th at Garden City. It may take some time to do, since I will have to do a little reading first.

I will be consulting the famous "mini golf restoration expert" Tom "Putt Putt" MacWood.

The Ted Robinson one doesn't have a waterfall in a pond with a fountain.  Cart paths with curbs, too.  Where's the containment?   ;D

Scott,
I think Ian's version is top notch Ted. He got the green perfect as well as the placement of the water and sand hazards. I love it. It looks like one of Ted's better holes at Tustin Ranch. All's its missing is a few palm trees!

I actually had a cart path with curbs running down the side and cutting across the fairway of the Rees Jones Edition but it got a little too busy, so I took it out.

The shadows on the Rees Jones edition are really a nice touch.  From a slightly more elevated perspective it could be the Mini Putt Aerial of the Day.

Talk about the material being perfect for a specific audience, this is the GCA comedy equivalent of Richard Pryor at The Apollo!

Hysterical!  Please do more!

LKoonce,

Shame on you!

They are not shadows. They are "Rees' Pieces" containment mounds.

Ah -- I see that now.  I think I need to get the "tint" fixed on my monitor...

Should have know that Mr. Naccarato would not have made the mistake of having shadows cast in two different directions like that anyway...

As punishment, I will now turn the 17th into my screensaver.
