Thanks for the thoughts gentlemen.
We are close to publishing a Master Plan for about 1,250 acres or more. The most encouraging thing is how the history of the Northern Neck of Virginia will be on display with this project. Once named the "Athens of the New World", the Northern Neck was largely comprised of land grants from the King of England to the first settlers and was the true center of new world commerce. Three Us Presidents, two signers of the Declaration of Independence and numerous other personalities grew up minutes from the site. The developer has proffered that at least 10 historic monuments will be designed and erected. With cliffs as high as 150 feet and deep ravines between the major sections of the land, the best description of the site is something like Torrey Pines with forest. It certainly is a unique place. Will release info when I can.
