Have played it many, many times. Always fun. Greens usually as pure as you will ever put -- as most most of the SoCal High Desert courses.
Course used to be private for many years. Used to head up and play two invitationals each year: "The Wildflower' in the spring, and then "The Pneumonia" in the winter, aptly named because it would always be brutally cold. One of the tee prizes was always a fifth of cheap brandy!
