 8)  Who needs a simulator or should it be stimulator... when you can have a RobotGolfPro?

I've been playing really bad for a long time and decided to find out whether it's just cause of old age and being a little too chubby. So all winter been on the simulator hitting way too many balls. They are really good and give lots of information. Not much for playing courses on them but lots of guys play leagues during the long cold winter.

One of my friends put one in his beach house and it's really terrific.

Went all in on the Skytrack a while back. Very happy with it. Highly recommend it.

I have a sim in my basement -- convinced my wife we needed to do it when we finished it last year...which included engineering and structural work to raise the ceiling.

I've had both a Skytrak and a Foresight GC2+HMT (what I currently use). Love the Foresight -- very accurate and never misses a shot. With GC2+HMT you get the same info as a GCQuad like the pros use, but it lacks the portability (which is fine for me). The Skytrak is a solid unit, but you do get what you pay for.

The big thing I recommend to folks thinking about a sim is to put in cameras. This has been by far the most helpful thing to my game. Being able to see your swing and get instant feedback is very powerful.

Lou Stagner tip from Twitter - get your laptop and set up a zoom meeting, then use your tablet and your phone to call into the zoom meeting, then set up one DTL and one face on and hey presto - you have a camera set up and can watch your swing from two angles. Would definitely put in the cameras permanently if I was setting up a simulator room, but for a DIY stick it together quick and cheap this is a good way to go.
