They are being very careful and deliberate to avoid doing anything that looks like everything else in central FL.  They have 16,000 acres, but most of the rest of it is pretty flat and featureless by comparison. Even the Black had to go a little over the top in order to be distinctive.

Didn't realize they had that much. Not sure how much is being actively mined vs. on the reclaimed list.  Certainly can't all be golf, any idea what could be the utility of that much land after being mined and then reclamation? Housing or anyone know details of long term plans?

If you look at Google Maps, Streamsong sits right in the middle of Bone Valley, Florida.  Its hundreds of square miles of land that's been mined for well over 100 years.

Based on what I see in the aerials not much.  But Streamsong is at least one use for it!  ;)
