Located in a bend of a river, this one dates from back in the days of the cleek.  You'd have to really throw some darts on some of those holes in the trees on the west side of the property.


There were a few different big names associated here, although I've never seen anyone mention this as part of the portfolio of the original architect.

Bulls Eye is correct (as the modern day aerial clearly shows).


The course opened in the early 1920's as a 9 holer, with Stiles & Van Kleek submitting plans for an extension to 18 holes around 1925.  It is my understanding that their plans were used with the addition being constructed by Leonard Macumber.
