The Wonderful Woman Behind the Green Ink
« on: December 25, 2021, 08:44:06 AM »
My long-time friend, Pat Mucci, asked me to post this here. I am honored to help him fulfill his request.

She was indeed a wonderful, special woman and as Pat put it best: "everyone knew why I married Debra....No one knew why Debra married me!" I've tried to post her picture, but can't seem to get it populated. Believe me when I tell you Debra was a beautiful lady!

Debra Ann Mucci, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away peacefully with her family at her side on December 22, 2021 after a long and valiant battle with brain cancer.
Born March 18, 1962 in Fort Kent, Maine, Debra moved to New Britain Connecticut and then to Boca Raton, FL. where in 1988 she met and had a fairy tale romance with the love of her life that lasted for 33 years.
Debra is survived by her husband Patrick Mucci Jr., her son Ryan Mucci, her sisters Karen Daigle and Lisa Daigle, her brothers Jimmy Daigle and Steven Daigle and seven nieces and nephews.

Debra was predeceased by her parents, Noella Daigle and Elbridge Daigle and by her brother Lester Daigle.

Debra’s enchanting beauty was matched and enhanced by her radiant personality, her wonderful sense of humor and her genuine empathy for others.

Debra was a loving and dedicated mother to her son Ryan, a wonderful wife to her husband Patrick, a guiding light to her brothers and sisters James, Steven, Karen and Lisa and an inspirational mentor to her nieces Renee, Holly, Ariel, Sarah and Crystal.
Debra was an extremely kind and caring woman who endeared herself to all of those who were fortunate enough to come into her company.

Debra’s incredible good looks were equaled and exceeded by her inner beauty, her kind soul.

While Debra’s flame of life has been extinguished, her endearing warmth and radiant glow will always be with those who knew her.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 27th at the Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd, Fairfield, N.J. (973-882-5588) from the hours of 4:00 to 8:00pm

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 28th at 10:00am at Notre Dame Church at 359 Central Ave., Caldwell, N.J.

Debra will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, N.J.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Debra’s memory can be made to the Philip Paty M.D. Foundation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation or the charity of your choice.

After losing our beloved Neil Regan and now Debra Mucci, please--on this special Christmas Day--hug the ones you love a little firmer and a little longer and live life bolder and better every day. Carpe Diem & A Happy, Healthy Holidays to all!

Deb was truly a special person!

The many times I’d call to talk with Pat, it would start out with a ten or fifteen minute conversation with Deb!  Always welcoming with a love in her heart knowing how crazy all of us were regarding Golf & Golf Courses!  She was truly the great woman who made the great man!

So sad. RIP Debra and condolences to the Mucci family.

59 is certainly too young, and may the Mucci's be left and comforted with only the cherished memories.

My condolences as well, very sorry Pat.

P.S.  We may be distant relatives a few times removed. My Dad's sister married a Daigle, and they lived in Fort Kent for decades, before he passed.

Sorry to  hear this.  59 is too short a ride.  Condolences, Pat.  It sounds as though you were not only a lucky man, you knew you were and I'm sure that meant the world to her.
