Has golf spectating become popular enough that there are scalpers buying up large portions of tickets to sell later at a premium?
There's so many buying forces that come into play...
1. How many of these tickets were always deeded to the Corporate sponsors/patrons?....They are a large part of the "sold out" scarcity....baked in to the total
2 And several broker/junket/travel organizers are glomming up various levels of tickets for "experience" packages...
3. And more local ticket broker/scalpers are always in play for anything...
4. And the general public (half of whom are not local, right?) has to get these tickets in hand; they can't rely on walk-up availability if they're coming from hours away or it is a part of distant travel.
