I agree that quite a few of the suggested courses fit the bill but most are not in a climate which allows for 12 months of golf and some are quite expensive.  My pick would be Pine Needles, Mid Pines and Southern Pines group - I think Ran would agree with this.  Courses can be played year round, they are great fun to play, not too bad of a walk, and price is reasonable although with the current boom membership has gotten considerably more expensive. Cost of living in the area is reasonable and would be a good place to grow up.  I would think those in a bridal party would enjoy playing them.

Give me Jasper for life and I am good. SFGC is also a decent spot for it.

The answer is Kingston Heath

"The truth about golf courses has a slightly different expression for every golfer. Which of them, one might ask, is without the most definitive convictions concerning the merits or deficiencies of the links he plays over? Freedom of criticism is one of the last privileges he is likely to forgo."

Is there such an Irish demographic where this person could exist? I like the mix of courses but question if being an Irish citizen could work when trying to make your best life.
