If you think the fan behavior is boorish now, wait until Bethpage.

Presumably it'll get worse as the day(s) go on as more beer gets drunk? Hard to imagine there's too many of the crowd three sheets to the wind at 8am.

So I take it you’ve never been to Wisconsin?

Once the European Team showed up in Green Bay Packers colors Tuesday I'd have bet the house on them winning this week...that move is absolute class and balls rolled into one!

Crowd seems quite flat compared to Paris Friday early am.
Surprising given the endless buildup

There are only eight balls in play, yet NBC needs to spend half the broadcast "playing through".  It can't be long until the "free" network broadcast will be entirely "playing through", and you'll have to buy a subscription to see the match on your entire screen.

Bill I totally agree, it is annoying as heck.  at least a third to half the coverage has some ad it seems.

Shortening the 11th by about 200 yards to make it a driver and sand wedge has taken a lot of the interest out of the hole. The players don't have to contend with the big Hell bunker.
It's sad that they chose to overwater the course so it can play soft.

Also, I find it lame that they shortened many holes to make them driveable or almost driveable. Depending on the wind a player can get it close to 1, 6, 10,13,14

the interviewer asked beck how he felt "being the bob dylan of the 90's" and beck quitely responded "i actually feel more like the bon jovi of the 60's"

One thing you know is that the Euro's will play their hearts out. Their performance in past events is outstanding. But the Americans might have some better chemistry  than usual with Morikama and Berger added to the list. Rahm is a stud they have to find a way to beat him down a little but it won't be easy!

Why is everyone bitching so much on this beautiful Friday morning? Of course the broadcast is showing commercials. They've learned that it doesn't matter what they do you guys are going to self prostate and moan a sad tune. Might as well cash out.

+100--I have 2 friends from Wisconsin and each sent me the photo with a thumbs up for brilliant PR from the Europeans.

Felt like the Ryder Cup jumped the shark when the Euros decided to build a freaking stadium around the 1st and last holes in 2018.

I can't even imagine what type of monstrosity they've built in Brats-n-Cheddarville.

Yeah they must have had to start building the grandstands in April with how much infrastructure they have there. Those who thought it would be great to get a seat on the 17th or 18th won't see many shots, this is RC not a tour event.  :D

Must be the wind. Putts and Chips are staying out of the hole. Doesn't seem like a normal Ryder Cup.

Anyone try to cut the corner on 5 today?  Only got to see little bits and pieces of the coverage today...

P.S.  I know Patrick isn't the first guy to play sans a lid, but he looks odd without one!  ;)
