Hackensack?!?!

Saw some absolutely stunning pics on Evan Schiller's Twitter:

Charles Banks design, a master plan via Rees Jones, in-house renovation. All the GCA threads are old af on this course so figured I'd start a new one. It's unclear if the master plan via Rees is now complete or they went out on their own at some point. I have an email out to try to learn more. In the mean time anyone know what the process was here?
Don't play too much golf. Two rounds a day are plenty.

The Seth Raynor Society is having an outing there next week.  Look forward to seeing it.

About 11 years ago Bill Brightly hosted a bunch of people at Hackensack, I think maybe after a Mucci-fest.

Here is how my eyes and camera saw Hackensack that day:

I don't know. That punchbowl looks manufactured for sure, but it also looks awesome.

Played Hackensack about 5 or so times over the past few years. Gets better every time I play. Type of place you can play everyday and not get bored.

I think Banks is one of those designers that most people really like or really don't - he didn't do anything halfway.  I was at Forsgate, and although there were a few shots that were more than I could handle, loved it.  I also knew quite a few that were not impressed...
