High Bridge Hills

Played a round for the first time at High Bridge Hills in northern New Jersey . Why is this track not talked about more ? Not long at 6500 from tips but a great variety of holes , elevation, and nature . The fairways are generous, yet protected from errant shots with thick rough . Green complexes are large, but undulating . The par 3’’s varied a lot including one over a ravine . Par 4’s varied in length and par 5’s short to long . I could play this course every day and for 60 bucks on GolfNow it’s a no brainer

Good course. Played it a few times in the early 2000’s and kind of forgot about it after moving from the area. Always in good shape and I looked forward to playing it Was it done by Billy Casper’s group, or did they just manage it back then?

In that area I like Architect’s better but probably need another round at High Bridge Hills to freshen the memories.

Is it a horse or dog track? Sorry, I couldn’t resist. I guess there are race courses out there as well.Back to your worthy thread.

Between Heron Glen, Neshanic, and High Bridge Hills West Central NJ has very respectable municipal golf options..
