Old Tom Trails

Hello all,


Not often I pluck up the courage to write on the GCA forum but here goes. Thought it would be good to bring to your attention the recent filming series that we have completed at Cookie Jar Golf called the Old Tom Trails.


Our remit was to work within the parameters of Scottish golf and highlight some of the impact of Old Tom Morris in the bicentennial anniversary of his birth.


We filmed at Nairn, Carnoustie, Craill, Cullen, Cruden Bay, North Berwick, Prestwick & The Old Course


Our last film of the series was at St Andrews and you can see it here if you can spare 15 minutes or so!

Tom,

I've watched all of your videos, and the Old Tom Trails are among the best.  Really well done.  I can't wait for more content from Cookie Jar Golf.  Actually, a gca friend just reminded me today to listen to your podcast on Old Tom Morris. 

It was great to relive some memories while watching the episodes on Crail, Cruden Bay, North Berwick, and St. Andrews, and I actually booked additional rounds at Prestwick (next summer) after watching that one!  You really seem to capture the essence of the clubs and courses well.

I highly recommend these youtube videos to everyone here, especially if, like me, you are longing to play some great links golf ASAP.
