Tees to be renovated (not gras and will remain so). Greens to be renovated. Maybe some new holes and greens.

Sounds scary. When I played it I had all sorts of ideas how to improve it, but best links course in continental Europe? Wow.

New update here. Still seems like its a significant undertaking.


Will irrigate greens, try and get rid of some blind holes.

Anders we'll have to take your word for it, I didn't see a language toggle. Is this a golf.com website for Danes? Impressed that such a small country and golfing population would have such a site. Great if so.

Re-reading Rans review as linked above I ask simply why would they bother. The kind of cracking, special, unique course that should be preserved.
If distance is such a big deal roll the damn ball back.

Jeff, it is the homepage of DGU, danish golf association (Dansk Golf Union).


They are also discussing how to get the danish wildlife foundation aboard, since the area is protected. On prior occasions they have been able to do some work by agreeing to not play during the winter.

Thomas, it’s not only length, as i read it they also want to deal with the quirk. Probably cant make grass tees though.


In all fairness, it is the only course in the dunes here, so it is not like they will change it into something we have. But i totally hear you.
