I am uncertain if this has ever been presented before on GCA.
This is a New Jersey Scots golf pro named Alexander Finlay. His work has often times been attributed to Alexander H. Findlay "The Father of American Golf". Both men were from Montrose, Scotland but this man was older, born 1855. The work that this Finlay was involved with was at the Garden City GC, the Essex County, NJ CC, the Scarsdale GC, the Ampersand GC on Saranac Lake, the Newark Athletic Club and the Lawrence Park CC. These courses are the few I can prove.
