It was the most successful residential golf development in the US in the early 90's.  Once Branigar(RE division of Union Camp Paper Co.) had sold 95% of the available lots the golf was turned over to the homeowner associations to own and operate.  They have done a very good job.

I've been fortunate to play there a few times with a friend who is a member.  I enjoyed the courses and the membership a lot.  The 2 Art Hills courses are my favorites although I haven't played the recently redone Palmer course.  The consensus of the small sample of members that I talked to is that the Palmetto course by Arthur Hills is the favorite, especially for stronger players.  Some prefer Deer Creek, the Fazio where I think the Korn Ferry plays (maybe the Q school?).  I'm told that the Landings Women's Golf Association is the largest women's GA in the world behind only the LPGA.  Can't vouch but sounds plausible.
