Can be public or private.
Many privates have 2 courses and maybe a short course, but the 3 regulation 18 hole courses or more are not common. You can include just a handful of public/resorts/private clubs. Don't have to share the same clubhouse, etc. Only add what you think have some great courses in them.

I also missed The Legends in Myrtle Beach. 


And, Rosapenna will have a third full course once St. Patrick's opens this spring.  Does that make it the only facility in Ireland with three courses?  I am coming up blank on another.

I played Links at Fancourt about 4-5 years ago...was with a large group but it seemed like it was open to all hotel guests on a limited basis (sort of like #2 at Pinehurst).

The three course facility next to Royal J-burg rthat Tom Doak refers to is Huddle Park.  Their website cites two courses but Wikipedia says the following:

Hong Kong Golf Club (formerly Royal HKGC until 25 years ago) has 3 courses (Old, New, Eden) at its main location in Fanling and a nine hole short course on the south side of HK island (Deep Water Bay).  Club is private.  The Fanling facility has hosted the Hong Kong Open on a composite course (10 holes from Eden and 8 from New) for I think 60+ years and in the early days of the Golf Magazine Top 100 (pre-Doak) the Composite was included in Golf's first two World Top 100 (actual back then World Top 50) listings in 1979 and 1981. 


HKGC is different from HK's Jockey Club which is a public facility.
