Ran, et. al.,

Have you considered setting up a Patreon for GolfClubAtlas contributions? That could streamline continuing support for many of us.

Not to sound like a real millennial but if GCA had a Venmo account that would be awesome & easy to contribute.

Yes! With so many platform that allow for recurring patronage, as well as a new method of disseminating content, it seems obvious we could move in this direction.

I'm willing to assist in the set up.

This is an excellent work in progress.  At least we helped him figure out to stop getting dive bombed by his own drone.

Vaughn,

Ran's still blaming the moves he had to make to avoid his own poltergeist-controlled drone for his inability to drive the ball past 210 yds off the tee!

Dear Ran,
It would be nice if your minions ceased poking fun at you in regards to your attempting to be modern and venturing into dangerous space. It seems to me that the coronavirus has allowed your vassals to have too much time on their hands. "An idle mind is the devil's playground" and a lack of golf by your lickspittles suggests they have succumbed.
That simply must stop droning on about it!
Cheers Colin

It’s really not that hard to donate.  Paypal woks for the donation.  It might take one minute.  I can’t imagine contributions will improve by introducing another payment processor ( even though PayPal owns Venmo).  I hope everyone reading this thread has contributed.  Ran is very low key in his requests for contributions.  I like that style but I do think more generosity by regular readers would be appreciated.

Patreon is specifically set up for the kind of recurring small contributions that keep this site rolling and it allows people to aggregate all their payments to various into one monthly thing.

Keep up the great work gentlemen.

I couldn't agree more with the sentiment expressed below, there is no place for this behavior on a golf course, which is a way to appreciate nature and being outdoors. If someone wants to have in earbuds or listen at a very low volume good for them, but please spare us your loud music. It's very selfish.

Since Paypal owns Venmo, it would/should be pretty easy to set up from what I could tell. To Kyle's point, it would be nice to set up a monthly cash sweep of $10 or so a month. Then I could forget about it. Just a thought.

Thanks,

Pat

If you go to the Donate page, you don't even need a paypal account as you can fill out your contact and CC info and its a secure page. It even has an optional donate monthly check box too.

It really couldn't be any easier...

PayPal supports subscriptions too. I send this site $x/month.

And on Patreon, you have to then use Patreon to distribute your content, generally speaking.

It has been a while since I was posting on here, but having spoken to Ran the other day it motivated me to pop back on.
Glad I did once again the quality of his thoughts and words reminded me of what I am missing.
Gratitude has become one of my buzz words as I continue to strive for maximum quality of life, and the presence of GCA and you guys are a part of that.
Thank you
