Paul Rudovsky had a comment on of the threads about new golf facilities coming online in 2021 and I saw Tower Tee was listed. Thought I'd chip in with a few details on this local institution.
If anyone is familiar with this area, Tower Tee was
the place in town for decades to practice, play putt putt or hit the batting cages. It closed a few years ago when the land owner sold it to home developers. After public outcry the developer reversed course and sold the land back to investors intent on recreating a much improved Tower Tee.
Art Schaupeter is doing all the golf design work - new range, short game area and a 9 hole short course much like the Cradle concept and others that are all the rage. This one will feature smaller versions of MacRaynor template holes. Slated to open later this summer.
