The country club of Birmingham is in Mountain Brook, Alabama.

Harbor Point GC is in Harbor Springs, MI. And even in a small town of 1,500 people, it's a BIG difference.

Responding to Jeff Brauer and Paul Rudovdsky,

The course Jeff refers to is Aroostook Valley CC in Fort Fairfield, ME.  The parking lot and pro shop are in the U.S.; the course and clubhouse in Canada.  Americans can drive to the parking lot but can't cross the border to play.  Canadians don't have vehicular access to the facility because they would have to cross the border at the Four Falls station which is closed.  Course workers can cross as they are considered essential.  Canadian golfers can attempt to access the course via other means which don't involve a border crossing.  One story has someone crossing Aroostook River via canoe to reach the course.

I also read about Point Roberts.  A little different situation as the entire facility lies within the U.S. but the town itself is completely cut off.  I doubt the population can support the play needed.  If I remember correctly the course is currently closed with one person performing necessary maintenance that will hopefully allow it to reopen in the future.

Northwest Angle CC is a 9 hole course that is the northernmost golf course in the continental US.  It's located in NW Minnesota on Lake of the Woods.  Like Point Roberts WA, the Northwest Angle is cut off due to the pandemic.  All road access involves crossing from Minnesota into Canada, driving for about an hour and then re-crossing back into the U.S.  The crossings are obviously closed.  The only alternative is a private boat from the south shore of the lake across some 40 miles of often rough open water.  Resorts in the area are popular among fishermen, but the best fishing is reputed to be in Canadian waters which are off limits to American anglers, so the resorts are dying.  The golf course itself is notable for having seven grass greens and two made of sand.

Sleepy Hollow CC is located in the Scarborough-on-Hudson District of the Village of Briarcliff Manor. The Village of Sleepy Hollow, which borders Briarcliff to the South, was known as North Tarrytown from the early 1800's until 1996, so when the club was founded there was no town/village called Sleepy Hollow.

Moundsville Country Club (WV) is in  Washington Lands WV.
Some days you play golf, some days you find things.

I'm not really registered, but I couldn't find a symbol for certifiable.
