If you haven't purchased your airline ticket yet the prices can be very reasonable.  I decided to treat myself and was able to get a roundtrip from Raleigh, NC to Edinburgh in business class on United for $2132 - premium economy was more.

Over $10k from Dallas for flying Business to LHR.  If I come, it will be flying Freight.

Both Cavendish and Reddish Vale have buggies (carts) for hire as well as motorised trolleys.


The last caddy to be spotted in these parts was in 1997.


Andy is the pro at Reddish Vale. Lee is the pro at Cavendish.


Either contact direct or let me know your buggy/trolley requirements and I’ll sort it.

Has anyone from the US booked a car rental for the UK yet? I would be very curious to know what company you booked with and what sort of rate per day you will be paying.

Looks to me like rental rates are 50% to 100% higher than what they have been in past years.

With regrets, I am withdrawing from the 2021 Buda.  While I don't have great concerns about my health, 14+ hours of wearing a mask each way and getting tested three times with the small, but still real chance of testing positive resulting in an indefinite quarantine outside my home country weigh against travelling to the UK at this time.


My thanks to Duncan and Tony for their considerable efforts.  I hope that all the participants have a wonderful time and that the 2022 Buda will be held in typical fashion under more normal conditions.
