Thought I would share this drone footage over a new project for a 36/54 hole resort, hotel, 200 homes. 750 acres.

Good luck with the project. It is difficult to tell about elevation changes but the scrub brush can make for an interesting look, kind of like a tropical heather. Belize?

Thanks Tommy. Yes Belize, not much overall change in elevation maybe 12 metres, land is kinda bumpy.

Been fiddling about with it for 10 years and it is a lot closer to happening now as there have been some 'better' infrastructure changes in Belize with an airport in the South of the Country 15 minutes away from this so less than 2 hours from the USA. Belize has a great climate, second largest barrier reef, great food, hospitality, beaches. Currently very little in the way of golf, so 'we think' membership would be full up straight from the start. With 750 acres there is enough for three courses so could be a destination. Quite hard to work at the moment so drone footage is the only route for me being UK based. just thought I would share the footage. Still hurdles but I am told they are 'stepoverable'. Belize is currently hard to get too from Europe but there might be a direct one coming...its basically a Caribbean lifestyle.

Adrian,

Where in Belize is this going to be? I love Belize and have been there a few times on service trips. It is a beautiful country, with wonderful people! Congrats!

Adrian,
Looks like some serious bushwacking and debris clearing to be done there... and some casual water at play.  Is that a long drainage channel I see traversing land in early portion of flyover? Seems to be water flowing in it?  Any LIDAR surveys conducted to generate topo or does someone have to do ground level survey?

Any Mayan ruins buried there to deal with?

Intersting.

Sounds an interesting project Adrian. I wish you every success with its development and look forward to hearing more about it if/when current world health circumstances allow me another visit to Codrington.
