Needless to say the Year of COVID has been extremely difficult. I appreciate the courtesies shown me on this site by people I never have met and the hours of education and amusement Gca.com has provided.

Stay safe and well.

If we’re here and posting it means we’re all blessed beyond all measure — living better than Kings and Queens did a hundred years ago: warm all winter and cool all summer long, fed with foods and delicacies from around the world, with health and the best medical care in human history, free to talk to anyone anywhere and instantly at any time, with access to every conceivable appliance and accessory, and soon enough able to travel once again across vast distances affordably and in mere hours. [As a friend said to me after our son's birth: ‘Ben has already won the lottery, simply by being born in this time and place and to you and Lisa’.] Blessed all of us here, every single day of our lives — and then to top it off we get to play a truly wonderful game, and then come to gca.com and talk about it with likeminded folks. A peaceful and safe and joyous thanksgiving to all. With my gratitude.

Here in London we celebrated our first ever thanksgiving last night. I drank two Martinis (surely a US invention?) And cooked Turkey for my family. It tasted great to me!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends I've made through GCA.
Let's make GCA grate again!

In a moment of enormous clarity, I offer thanks to the architects (shapers, routers, et al.) and superintendents who share their experiences with us, on this discussion board. It is akin to having 30-40 Dr. Fauci offering wisdom, out of the bright lights of the public eye.
