A private club I worked at used Silica Sand that was supposed to be the whitest, best sand available in Cali. Many years ago. Is it still in use?

I nicked a little bit from the large bunker on #17 at Pebble Beach. It sits in a little plastic container on my office desk.

I had the Sunday pin so I went for it and ended up about a foot short, in said bunker.
