Thanks for posting these videos. I enjoyed the presenter and courses themselves. I particularly liked Tain and Boat of Garten. When I ultimately make the trek across the pond I want to play some of these beautiful, challenging, lesser-known Scottish courses to help balance the trip out in the type of courses played. Problem is there are too many good choices and not enough time or $$$$.  :)

These 'Average Golfer' chaps have done dozens of these UK course visit films. Equipment stuff as well. A Youtube search ought to find them.
There's also a chap who calls himself the 'Hairy Golfer' who's done numerous similar reviews. There's one of Painswick for example.
Lots of similar golf stuff on Youtube and more folks doing this kind of filming and posting if you care for such or care to look.

I recently subscribed to the Cookie Jar Golf YouTube vlog, in addition the Average Golfer. I love seeing some of the lesser-known U.K. courses profiled that are occasionally discussed here and get a feel and perspective of them, which helps me better relate to the comments found in the discussion group. This also helps with formulating a travel plan for when I come there - the hardest part being the courses I leave off the itinerary.

Nothing average about that golfer. He's "not playing great" and "settling for par" - a bit rich, if you ask me. The filming is first class, too.

I wonder if there are great videos like those by really average golfers out there.
