Nice to see an article giving the other side of the story for once.


However, I guess 99% of the FT readership don’t need convinced. Once I see these kind of articles in The Sun or The Daily Mail, even The Guardian, then we could be getting somewhere.

With a bit of imagination and open-mindedness you can play golf pretty much anywhere.
This from an piece written c1850 by a lad from St Andrews who later became a pro in the English Midlands -

Imagination and open-mindedness seem to gone out of fashion as the decades have past however. Time for a re-think?
