LPGA at Aronimink
« on: October 07, 2020, 07:27:32 PM »
I have played Aronimink only once but I was completely awed by the greens. Even from my one play I left thinking they might be some of the best greens Ross designed. I know the course will play long but I think the greens could give them fits this week.

I’ve played it twice. Once when the fairways were fast and the pins in pretty easy spots. The second time the fairways were soft. The course played much longer,  the pins seemed diabolical, and the greens were pretty fast.. I was amazed how hard it was under those conditions. It could be a tough week for the ladies.

Definitely worth a watch on TV.

I drove by a couple of months ago and was amazed at the Hanse transformation.   Many trees were removed and the property is now truly beautiful.

I think that the work by Ron and Gil has finally restored this Ross gem to its former glory.

Redanman next to Wayne Morrison? I was there?  Always nice to sit next to Jason Mandel. Dan Boerger was likely the host. He’s in the middle smiling. Alex  Stavrides is next to Dan.
