Jack was discussing this course during Memorial broadcast today.  Sounds interesting, great cause.

The site is the former Grand Haven GC.  It was once rated one of the best public courses in America, but every hole was surrounded by pine trees, and as the pines grew it became ridiculously narrow . . . it was narrow when I first saw it thirty years ago, and kept going from there!  But it's some lovely sandy ground.

I suspect, after all I've heard and seen, about Jack's changes in design theories, this could be his best effort ever.

One can hope.
