What are the best Par 5's you've seen in hole sequence 1-18? Why?

#12 West Shore Country Club: Camp Hill, PA

Constantly blamed by 8-handicaps for their 7 missed 12-footers each round.

#1 Spyglass Hill. Forest to beach
#13 Torrey Pines South almost unreachable, tough layup, blind third

I think you meant 17 at Riviera.

Muirfield 5, 9 and 17
Silloth 13
In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

13 at Torrey Pines South plays shorter than the par four 12th.

17 at Prairie Dunes is a lock.

At the risk of being obvious:

6th Sunningdale New
8th Brancaster
14th TOC

Even if (or maybe that should be because) the first two are 4 1/2s.

#1 at Spyglass

#3 at Pacific Dunes -- Love the center-line bunkers. Plenty of room on both sides and they mess with the mind!

#? at MPCC (Dunes?) -- All I remember is that the green was cut hard against a sand dune that encroached from the right side of the hole starting at about 75(?) yards? Only played it twice in the State Am in 2006, but loved the hole.

C & C
Bandon Trails 3
Streamsong Red 7
I woould add Cabot Cliffs 7 and, especially, 15.

Cabot Cliffs 15 is a great reachable par 5.  As you crest the hill while approaching the landing spot for your drive you see the expanse of water in the distance and the beginning of an amazing stretch of closing holes along the ocean.  If this hole doesn't get your pulse racing then you are playing the wrong sport.

Must be room for one or more of the set at Cape Breton Highlands Links.  The par 5s are as good a set anywhere like Muirfield.

#6 not sure the drainage issues addressed          likely trails Pebble 6
#7
#15 my fav there          right up with Cabot Cliffs 15
#16 perhaps the weakest of the 4 there but still a very good hole

Mike DeVries first at Greywalls is a rollercoaster of a ride. Perfectly setting the tone of the story about to unfold.
