With all the chat about bunkers, what do the DG think about the recent changes to the 17th at Hoylake?

How is this fitting into the routing now? Both member's and R&A's.

That has some real pop and appeal. Really like the infinity edge it appears to have. Long looks dead with a slope over the back to a deep waste area/bunker.
The green looks like it has some small humps in the left and right middle by the bunkers with the back running away. Not alot of room for error on that hole.  I like the change.
I'd like to see the new routing and scorecard as the website isn't updated yet.  I really liked the par 4 18th as a finisher and I suppose making it a long 5 is exciting for drama.
