Its a sad anniversary for a lot of folks especially his wife Dianna who has done great keeping everything going.
She's selling for one simple reason - she doesn't golf and wants someone who does to own it and keep it going.. Just as it was so simple once we realized we were design/building for one man, its really just that simple with the future of his golf course.
Not like money in the bank is going to appreciate faster than the land.
There is a lot more than the golf course going with the sale, thus the reason for the sale price.
The runway mentioned is not in Port Lavaca, it's new and a 3-wood south of the 3rd green _ 5000' foot paved that can handle all but the big boys.
We've had some lookers, and I always hear the same thing when they play for the first time, almost to the word, "its better than I thought it'd be"
It'll eventually sell, and maybe I'll stay on, but that's all about who buys it and how they plan to treat it.
