I'm surprised that no one has mentioned RTJ's course at Camp David, a course that I've played many times...

In terms of Not being a monster, I recall the course at Stone Mountain Georgia as not being particularly difficult and largely true to his design characteristics.

Hazeltine does not have much RTJ Sr. left but it is only a brute if you play it from tees longer than your abilities will support.  If you play it at a length you normally play it is pretty enjoyable.  A lot of the yardage is hidden in par 3's and 5's.  The greens are receptive to a reasonable length iron shot but nearly impossible to hit from further back.

My general impression is that his non-championship courses are pretty fun to play -a bit of a transition from the Golden Age to the dark ages.
