The City Of Houston is hiring a Senior Superintendent for Memorial Park Golf Course.
Jason Harsh has been in that job since 1998 but Jason is also the Golf Division Manager for the city and with 7 courses, over 200,000 annual rounds, and plans to improve some of the other city properties. He needs someone to attend to MPGC full time.
The job is posted somewhere on the city website. If I find the link I'll add it to this post. If you have questions send me a PM. I'm not part of the hiring group, but I am trying to get the word out, with Jason's permission.
As many here know the course was recently renovated by Tom Doak and team. The Houston Astros formed the Astros Golf Foundation in 2018 and funded the renovation and sponsor the Houston Open. It looks like the PGA Tour will be at MPGC for the foreseeable future.
The course also does a lot of rounds, over 55,000 in 2018.
