To go along with the above mentioned Podcast here’s Seve winning the Masters in 1983 - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=W9yhcLMi3uk
Persimmon and balata and all ... splendid. :)

I was at that Masters [!], as a photographer for the yearbook.

I think it's still the only time The Masters finished on a Monday.  It poured rain on Friday and Saturday . . . it was very hard to take photos due to the lack of sunlight.  I think I only got about four photos worth using for the yearbook.  [Of course, I was working for free just to be there, and "you get what you pay for."]

That was the year I realized that the veterans and the better ball strikers really had an advantage in wet years.  Spinning the ball back off the fronts of the greens was a real problem when it was so wet, and only the best ball strikers could pick it that clean to hit it solid and not spin it too much.

Since I recommended the Donegan/Hugan McKellar magazine podcasts on March 25, they have added 3 more podcasts with Geoff Ogilvy, Padraig Harrington and Lee Westwood. All are worth hearing.

Loved it but Musberger and his "noble" Spaniard was doing my head in.

The McKellar Golf podcasts keep getting better and better. The last 4 weeks the guests have been Padraig Harrington, Lee Westwood, Dennis Pugh and Curtis Strange.

https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/mckellar/id1483786770

Strange was surprisingly forthcoming, talking about his experiences on the Old Course (playing there in the Walker Cup as an amateur and shooting 62 there as a pro), competing against everyone from Snead to Ballesteros, working on TV, etc.

In an attempt to destroy everything I love in life Joe Rogan is off my list. Hoarding testing is inexcusable.

For the older amongst us it's tough to beat Gilbert Gottfrieds amazing colossal podcast. Jeffrey Tambor is the latest with the interview of Bob Einstein being perhaps the best.
