Anyone have a rough estimate of the cost of a redo/ restoration like the one Andrew Green did on Oak Hill?

Is the Osk Hill restoration all about looks?. What about it makes it a better golf course?

The scope of the projects were completely different. Oakland Hill's was completely blown up. Oak Hill was more about bunkers & greens, adjusting a few holes. The entire property wasn't reshaped & regrassed.

the 1995 version and 2023 version is a stark difference - I prefer the 2023 version especially the tucked pin positions for an event like this. One peeve is the rough was one level could it have been 2 so that it is graded based on distance from the fairway?

$6 million and it was completed in 114 days.

The Oak Hill miracle was a PGA that was contracted for August, but shifted to May in 2017. That's a lot to pull off for a northern New York course.
