Well since we brought her up, I've become a fan of hers too. Her last album really broke through. She's really straddled the line between country that featured on the watered down-CMT crap channels as well as indie channels. I listed to a public radio station here in Austin TX that plays quite a lot of her stuff. Will be interesting to see where she heads from here.
But definitely a big loss in the music community, as illustrated by all the artists paying homage to John Prine. Not just lip service either, he was a songwriter's songwriter.
