I get that, Kalen.

There is a color coded strip on the bottom of every badge that identifies the owner of the badge. Last year I heard security was randomly stopping patrons on the course, asking for their badge and the name associated with the badge. If they didn’t know who owned the badge it was confiscated and they were escorted from the grounds. The true badge owner was then informed his badge was permanently revoked. Not many who are lucky enough to have four-day tournament badges are willing to risk that.

I think most of the tickets being sold now are single day tickets won through the lottery.

I know someone who had yearly Berckman's Place badges and lost them. They gave them to a "friend" for the day for his personal use, but instead he sold them online to some random people. Those people got absolutely wasted and ended up getting kicked out of the tournament, which also resulted in the permanent loss of the badges. They haven't spoken to the "friend" since.

Mike,

I was only trying to suggest that rules are only as good as they can be enforced.

Kalen,

How can you expect anyone to play golf with someone who has such a low opinion of rules?
