The article below has been interpreted to be a reference to Capuchino CC, which would be built in 1926.  However, the sponsor of the course noted in the article is not mentioned at all in any reports on Capuchino, and the location described is not the same, suggesting this was an entirely different proposed project.

A combination golf and riding club to be built near Des Plaines, IL with the Caulkin Brothers as golf architects (I've never heard of this firm).

A March 1926 Golf Illustrated article on Chicago public courses noted that the Des Plaines Community golf course was in the process of being surveyed, another course I don't believe was ever built.

Every once in a while trying to decipher an article that provided a fleeting glimpse of an idea that never came to fruition leads one down a garden path of discovery.
