When Ross built Grosse Ile G&CC, there were plans for an additional 9 holes that were never built.

I've covered this Raynor project before, this one to be built for a new club organized by C. W. Gordon of the Somerset Club.

When the Charlotte CC (aka Mecklenburg CC) was looking to move to a new site in Myers Park in 1912, H. H. Barker and F. G. Byrd staked out a new course at the new location.  The club opted to stay at its current course, with Ross being brought in to make changes.

In 1940, Perry Maxwell was engaged to design an 18 hole course for Duke University.  Due to the onset of WWII, the course never happened.

In 1924, the Canoe Brook CC opened its second 18 hole course, this one designed by Isaac Mackie.

Prior to Mackie's plans being selected by the club, both Willie Park and the firm of Colt, Mackenzie & Alison were involved with the project.

I've seen listings for a Crossing CC by Charles Banks in New Jersey, but don't have any further information on this one.

In 1929 plans were in the works for two 18 hole courses at Carlsbad, NM by Stiles and Van Kleek for the Washington Ranch Resort.  As far as I can tell, nothing was built.

Here is an article highlighting the proposed Wendehack clubhouse for The Crossing Club.  The second paragraph mentions Charles H. Banks as the golf architect.  Golf Illustrated., October 1927.

Before the Brainerd Municipal GC (lka Chattanooga Municipal GC) was built, there were plans for a private club.
