By way of some interesting diversion this lockdown weekend, I’d like to recommend spending a little time tuning into the 2nd Zoom session of the Max’s Power Hour. The first one was very, very good with three hours of presentations, genial chat and lively debate. I’m sure this one will be just as good.

Shouldn't that information be kept private? I'd hate to get accused of Zoom Bombing with a number of Fazio templates.

It is great to see the architectural elite openly sharing their opinions. Too bad they are not simulcasting with the golf event this weekend.

In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

I presented and participated last week.   


Other than almost getting into a barroom brawl by contending that women are going to be the primary drivers of overall golf participation in the future as they generally have a larger say in how most household time and money is spent with limited hours and funds, it was very enjoyable and informative.   I guess my point that 40 white guys in a zoom room discussing the future of golf post-corona needed wider inclusive participation didn't sit well with a few, but that's ok too.

As Mayberry’s Johnny Paul told Sheriff Taylor “It ain’t a club unless you can keep someone out.”  I am proud to have served Max’s in that role.


I think I’ll remain at the kids table with my peeps but really appreciate the invitation to dine with the Fast and Cool crowd. Hillbillies know our place - and relish it.

Well, I hope some of you tuned in. There were certainly a good number of familiar names and faces. Some really interesting presentations again with great questions and follow-up discussions. It’s a bit like a Live discussion group. Kind of feels like what I suspect the old Archipaloozas must have been like. Just great.

it is clear from this post that you don't not like someone to disagree with you, because there was only one person disagreeing with you on the zoom, me, and that was 2 weeks ago,  ::)
