Courses that were once played as reversible.

Wondering from a historical perspective which courses - other than TOC - were regularly or even occasionally once-upon-a-time played in a reversible manner?
Be nice to have a list of them.

David,

North Berwick west links on occasion as well as Carnoustie. I believe it was fairly routine for a lot of the older courses to do as a means of resting the proper course. It wouldn't have been that difficult back in the day when courses were still being grazed and were therefore much more open.

Thanks Niall.
I wonder where else was once reversible?
Great concept.
I’d love to have the opportunity to play The Loop (twice!) sometime.
Wish more courses were akin to it.

Walter Travis did at least a couple of reversible designs.  His 18 at East Potomac Park in D.C. was reversible, as were the nine holes William Flynn built alongside it.  So was Westchester CC - although I think he had to build a couple of alternate greens for it to work there.

J.D. Rockefeller Jr. had a reversible 9 hole course at Kykuit, his estate in Tarrytown NY.
