In my view - and because of context - it's the Cascades in a landslide.
As far as I can tell, there just wasn't anything else remotely like it in 1923.
It was built with horses, mules, and steam shovels.
There are courses I would rather play but many of them were made possible by a true masterpiece.

I found the[size=78%] [/size][/size]Cascades to[size=78%][/size][size=78%] [/size][/size]have[size=78%][/size][/size]an[size=78%][/size][/size]intriguing[size=78%][/size][/size]dynamic[size=78%][/size][/size]between[size=78%][/size][size=78%] [/size][/size]nines[size=78%][/size][size=78%].[/size]If many more of site participants played Ballyhack, that course would be classified as "mountain" per the many sharp elevation changes. Probably the hardest course as well.
