Richard Goodale
« on: July 10, 2019, 04:43:53 PM »
This site's outstanding, longtime friend is hospitalized presently near his home north of Edinburgh.  As some of you know, Richard has been battling cancer for the better part of a year.  He was doing well enough with his chemo to visit his family in America for a few weeks between treatments.  Upon his return to Fife in June, his condition worsened.  His doctors are currently trying to adjust his pain medication and help him gain enough strength to withstand further therapy.  Though the cancer's source remains unknown and the prognosis is not favorable, there is hope that he will rally.  I doubt that Richard wants us to fuss over him, but let's keep him and his wonderful family in our thoughts and prayers.

I had no idea. Richard is one of the good ones, I am hoping he rallies from this and lives a very long life.

Well wishes from another Bay Stater. He not snarky, he’s just telling like it is in true Bay State fashion. Get well soon Rich!

Rihc is far too young, and far too good a bloke to have to put up with this.

All the best.
