Green Valley CC, Lafayette Hill, PA ( Flynn) Celebrates 100 years

The club was founded in 1919 and the course opened a few years later. Another in the long list of Flynn courses in the Philadelphia area as well as in Lancaster and Allentown, PA and in South Jersey.

The original site for Green Valley was in Roxborough. And it was a WP, Jr design:

There are some vestiges of the course in the elementary school on that site now.

Thanks for sharing. I played Green Valley in a GAP match a few years ago. Really fine course, and I had no idea it was a Flynn.
