Eric is right, the memories are great, though I appear shorter than I remember in that photo.  Photos can also show the places we shouldn't have been, like The Spectacles on #5.  But to John's credit he took his medicine and punched out. Much like he appears to be doing with this thread, taking his medicine relative to photos and moving on.

I miss the frequency which course photo-tours are posted herein. Always a pleasure to open a new thread highlighting some course or other. Be nice to see more.

10- You have a tee time the next day, and take a stroll at 8:30 pm and the camera gives you this to keep forever. Sunday evening:

Joe Bausch is the pinnacle here.  Not a professional photographer, he has photo tours of hundreds of courses at his website.    Everything from world Top 10 to local munis, which is why I think The Bausch Collection is so great.

While I much enjoy taking pictures I am greatly appreciative of those who long ago documented in photos the history of the golden age courses.
