Sources disagree...some say Donald J. Ross, jr., while others point to one of his builders, Sandy Alves.

I don’t know but when I lived in “The Land” I played there as much as I could.

I grew up in NE Ohio, and lived in Ohio for 36 years. Not once did I ever meet someone who actually referred to Cleveland as “The Land”. I heard “C-Town” a few times. But never, not once, did I hear someone say “The Land”.
