Looks like the 13th Hole at the Creek Club at Reynolds Plantation, a fun Jim Engh course.

That is one crazy looking green! My brother used to be an assistant pro at Reynolds years ago (back when I wasn't playing golf). I should forward this to him, as he'd get a kick out of it.

The Creek Club is up there with Tobacco Road, Tot Hill Farm and Streamsong Black among courses I've played that stretch the boundaries of what golf holes can be like. Love it.

I've a question for the greenkeepers out there - how do you stop the steep side slopes from going soft and mossy ? I was a member of a classic old links that had several dell like holes one of which had a green with slopes like that but unfortunately what I took to be the original intent of being able to have the ball run off the sides, no longer worked because the sides had gone soft and mossy. A shame really.

Could this be Black River in Slovakia?
